Helps to promote growth of pre-biotics, the precursors to friendly bacteria- The term pre-biotic refers to “a non-digestible food ingredient that beneficially affects the host by selectively stimulating the growth and/or activity of one or a limited number of bacteria in the colon” (2) There are many components of Whey Protein that have been found to potentially enhance intestinal health and increase pre-biotic activity. Lactose (found naturally within all whey proteins) has been shown to support lactic acid bacteria (such as bifidobacteria and lactobacilli). Recommended Use

For optimum results use 2-4 servings of Pharma-Whey daily. Ideally, use 1 serving 60-90 minutes prior to intense exercise, followed by 1-2 servings immediately upon completion of intense exercise.

To Mix a regular shake providing 20 grams of protein: Add 1 serving (1 scoop) to 200-250ml of ice cold water or 250ml of milk and shake for approx 5 seconds.

For a thicker, higher-protein shake, providing 30 grams of protein: Add 1 ½ servings (1 ½ scoops) of Pharma-Whey to 200-250ml of ice cold water or 250ml of milk and shake for approx 5-10 seconds.
